Epaulet Sewn by Hand footwear is our exclusive in-house brand. Each piece is handsewn and meticulously crafted in Maine of the finest leathers and materials.

The Longfellow is a bit dressier than most other Epaulet Sewn by Hand models. They're built for a pair of Walt or Rudy trousers, but if you beat them up, they could be an unexpected match for a pair of raw denim jeans as well. Either way, the Longfellow showcases a litany of classical features: a lower vamp, beaded welt, antiqued welt-stain, and a combination kiltie /buckle. Any one of these features would not make the shoe alone, but together the combination is tremendous.

Like all Epaulet Sewn by Hand, the toe is hand-stitched and a padded footbed runs along the interior; and, if the sole wears out, a cobbler can easily replace it. This shoe is fully lined with soft glove calfskin and made up in dark brown Horween chromexce
