I bought these shoes before I began my baller shoe obsession. Mine are the all black version (as opposed to the striped ones in the picture). They are made of some sort of leather and the texture is what enticed me to buy them over the regular canvas. The leather's texture looks cool, and with age it looks nicer (think beat up converse). For someone in the market for converse shoes, I would definitely recommend them. I gave them a 3 to accurately judge how I felt the shoes were in hindsight; middle of the road shoes to beat up with everyday wear.
