Originally created in the 1930's as a work boot, the Alden "Indy" Boot has gone largely unchanged for the better part of 80 years. They are simply some of the most comfortable, most handsome, and most classic boots that you can own. The upper is done in Horween's rich brown Chromexcel leather. It was famously worn by Harrison Ford in every Indiana Jones movie - hence the "Indy" moniker. Its neoprene cork-filled sole is great in all situations - including foul weather - and will wear hard for years. This boot's versatile style looks equally good with denim, chinos, and wool trousers. And as nice as it looks in these pristine, brand-new photos, it's a real masterpiece after several years of wear and tear.

    "Great, classic boot"
Pros - Extremely comfortable, high quality
Cons - Chromexcel leather scratches *very* easily, style might an acquired taste, expensive
NB that the Trubalance last fits 1/2 size down; once you know that, sizing shouldn't be an issue.
