The Alden 2-eyelet chukka is an extremely versatile and handsome style - and is consistently our best-selling shoe. For this makeup, we recast the classic Chukka in rich black suede, and lined it with glove leather for comfortable wear throughout the Fall. The "flex-welt" leather sole is bathed in oil to make it exceptionally supple - but just as durable as any other solid leather sole. Forget a break-in period - these are as comfy as your favorite sneakers from the first moment you put them on. The style is a great split of dress and casual. We also chose the Alden Barrie last for a slightly more rounded toe box.
