Where to find sweaters with a plain hem, i.e. no gathering at the waist?

Maybe it's just me, but the gathering on sweaters just looks horrible to me. Can someone suggest a source for good quality merino or cashmere sweaters with a plain hem at the waist? Hell, I might even be happy with okay quality if the cut is right.

    Anyone heard of Dikarpa shoes?

I came across a pair of interesting shoes, but I can't find anything about them on the web. They indicate that they're hand-made in Italy. They have leather soles with a Vibram "skin" at the front and a rubber section inset into the leather of the heel.

    Breast Pocket Location: History?

I found this thread from waaaaaay back in the day, but I'm wondering if the location of the breast pocket is tied to a country or particular style. Even on jackets of the same size and lapel configuration, I've seen the pocket tucked under the lapel and floating out there on the breast. Maybe...

In case Niidawg happens to see this post, I know that the quarters need to be opened up a bit. I just...
