    #buttons vs. # of vents?

I suppose in a work environment you'd want to blend in rather than stand out, but otherwise, I quite prefer lean silhouettes and would try to emphasise it rather than hide it. thin is elegant to me, and besides, not everyone has that body type, so you can work with it to make yourself look...

Turning a single vent to a double vent?

I know this sounds strange, but I think the single vent can be both dynamic and interesting as well as 'american commoner'. of course, I prefer the former element, of course. the double vent to me is quieter. as for ventless, it's more streamlined, but on the other hand it's a little stifling...

what do you think of off white or cream shirts?

I don't think they're very popular, at least where I am anyway. what do you all think of them? why are they less conservative than cool or blue tinted white shirts?

    Does anyone have $12,500

i think it's rather subtle, and i like that. not minimalist yet not over the top. the ordinal numbers instead of roman numerals is a nice touch.

    double breasted, naturellement

la guy, I think it was dior who was less democratic. if we're talking about womenswear, that is. dior was about luxury and the upper class, and maybe grandes dames, whereas YSL was left bank.

acole, that was funny. what's been annoying me since the festive season started are the loud, obnonxious hoons who shout out crude and vulgar things as they drive past.

    Formal Event wear

somebody said black is reserved for formal wear only, but i believe dior homme makes black suits which are not necessarily formal ones.

    Worst.faux.pas.ever

no, i think most people didn't know about the rules of dressing either, i saw guys in a grey morning coat and frock coat.. (this was an evening function btw)

    Worst.faux.pas.ever

a while ago i was wearing tails but at the time i wasn't very.. methodical about it. ie. i didn't bother learning what tails were called (white tie.. big mistake). i wore a black tie (with a point collar) instead of a white one. i can't imagine what other people were thinking. it certainly...

I am going to the elite model look 2003......

when you mean last season, does that mean it';s reached saturation point?

    Room for another minimalist? (menswear)

there's dior homme, helmut lang, and probably a handful of belgians. is that spot overcrowded? i'd really like to slot myself in there. but i'd like to avoid too many camparisons and that dreaded word.. DERIVATIVE. i want to hear your views.
