    sizing down with skinny guys is definitely possible though, I'm a true 32 and these are the elephant skinnies in a 31, fit snug but not too tight. They should stretch a decent amount too.

    How much did they stretch? The waist is now about a 34, thigh is about 11.5, so they stretched about 3 inches in the waist and 3/4 inch in the thigh, if going by context's measurements.

    Sizing varies. Check blueowl or other websites that give actual measurements. Perfect, measurements were just what I was looking for. Looks like the skinnyguy, in the broken twill at least, IS vanity sized by 1, as the waist is 1 inch larger than tagged. 31 it is, thanks.

    i don't know about that. i've tried on a lot of their jeans, anything under a 19oz weight, it was vanity sized. i have a 32" waist and unless it was elephants or my 24 oz, i wore a size 30 for my 32" waist.     Thanks guys, sounds like the 30 would have been a disaster, I might actually plan on having kids one day. Hopefully these come pretty quick, I want to have them broken in a bit before the really cold weather, i'm thinking the cold might make them stiffer than they already are.

    TTS is the way to go with the Skinny Guy cut. They run a little bit small, so TTS will be on the tight side until it stretches out. If you size down with these, you're taking a chance that you won't be able to get them buttoned up to start with. And TTS with N&F means getting the tagged size 2...
