Calling all LLBean Katahdin Iron Works Boots owners
I got my Katahdin boots a few days ago. I put sno seal on them (2 coats) and they look and feel terrific. I really like the darker color brown. Anyway, I noticed the left boot has a low squeak to it when I lift the heel while walking, very close to the arch. Not sure if this is due to the shoes...- zoso1699

i just received my boots in the size 10 D and they fit perfectly. not too snug or tight. thick wool socks are snug, but i haven't broken the boots in. Almost all of my shoes are a 10 1/2, except my converse/purcells and bean boots (size 9). so i couldn't be happier with the fit. if anyone else...- zoso1699

I use dubbin, some people use sno-seal, some people use Obenauf's. It darkens the leather quite a bit (they come light-coloured). I can only speak for dubbin, but it fades/burnishes nicely. They're uninsulated, but I've never had cold feet in them. The tread isn't the best, but I'm from...- zoso1699
