PAOLO LASTRUCCI??? any good?
Bought a suit (Zegna/Lastrucci) a while ago and then later a sports jacket (Metameda), very happy with both. My tailor couldn't believe I paid $550 for the suit made in Italy with Zegna fabrics!!- maximus

$1500 for a new suit what do I do?
Every brand has its own fit (and even within the same brand, different fits) and you have to find your own fit, rather than just a good brand. Whether it will cost you $1500 or $500, the most important thing is that it fits you well. I've seen people looking great in $300 suits and others...- maximus

sabelt shoes
Sablet makes a decent drving-racing shoe, Sparco does as well. I have tried them all on, but Puma is the better of the two, IMO. In one of my trips to Italy I bought a pair of loafers....UNBELIEVABLE shoes!! I thought they made only racing shoes but they now have (I've been told they started 2-3 years ago actually) very trendy shoes derivated from racing shoes....very cool and comfortable.- maximus
