    Medium and/or light gray. Medium gray is very versatile. Since I wear flannel in winter, the light gray is nice way to bring a lighter tone into what I am wearing.

    There is no such thing as a single breasted peacoat. Sounds more like you are searching for an overcoat in general. Perhaps a search on 'overcoat' or 'topcoat' would yield some answers.

    These are the Old Navy "prep" coats. I picked one up as a 'beater' coat for 40 dollars. Nothing special about them but be aware that they run short. I'd prefer another 2-3 inches in the body length. I have the charcoal.
