    Women't Plus Sizes

As a plus-sized woman I might be able to offer some assistance. I personally have a difficult time shopping for things other than underwear because the majority of their clothes are made with a high polyester blench which makes people sweat. I recommend Saks and Nordstrom and shopping at sale...

Take them to Sky Valet - they'll get them stretched for you.

    This might get expensive . . .

I am indeed female and am speaking from experience. I am in love with shoes and long for the days when womens shoes can be as cute as CL's or Dries and made as well as my better half's Lobbs or Santoni's *sigh*

one more - Taryn Rose - you have to look through them, some are just too 'functional' looking, but they are more conservative as a whole, and extremely comfortable and well made by womens shoe standards. And I do recommend the Carminas for more casual wear, they are worth the wait if you can't...

9 west makes good shoes - I didn't mention them because they wouldn't fall in line with luxury shoes, or designer really. Their shoes are more everyday type shoes with a few over the top stylish pairs every season to keep them up to date. 9 West for women = Kenneth Cole for men - you can...

    This might get expensive . . .

FWIW - I wouldn't recommend Prada shoes to a homeless woman, they are uncomfortable, poorly made *and* overpriced and few are very cute once put on a real foot. Gucci shoes would be a close second to the bottom of the list except they do have some really cute designs when they cut out all the...

Where to find Business clothes for women?

Speaking as a women that frequents many of those 'female style' sites - there is no place like the stle forum. Most womens fashion sites are over run by immature, and clueless 20 something women with no real sense of long term style, let alone quality. If I thought there was a larger market...

My girlfriend wants a new purse/handbag...

The ladies on my purse forum just posted pages of pics from the BV outlet in Woodbury. They even had the classic Ball and Veneta bags in brown and black - and it is extremely rare to find standard colors at the outlet. I'm not sure of the prices but it may be worth a quick phone call. Also fwiw...

    Enfuselle skin care products?

Shaklee products are the best you can buy, and the company has an unbeatable reputation. The are a MLM company, but in a class of their own. The real test of the quality and effectiveness of any product is in the scientific research behind it. Shaklee spends millions of $$ to research and...

    Silk Hermes scarf and water

Women do have to get their scarves dry cleaned/laundered depending on the fabric. It doesn't matter how high quality a womans make-up is - it will rub off on fabrics that it comes in contact with for any 'extended' (more than a few seconds) period of time.

    The pregnancy scare

From a females perspective - be supportive - keep it a fact based discussion - don't let her go off on the 'what ifs' - get her tested ASAP and that will serve you both better.

Ahh, for far too long I have watched, laughed, agreed and disagreed with lots of you over the shoulder of my better half, who is one of your members. I cannot believe that this is the topic that pulled me out of my shell. I agree with most of you on this topic. I have tried too many forums...
