    Shoe Care

depends on the colour of the cream. I usually alternate between neutral and brown for my tan shoes..

    Shoe Care

I just ordered some Grenson stuff actually. Was reading it's also pretty good. The only problem I have with alternating is that I don't want a high shine on some of my shoes. I guess I could just not buff it as much?

    Shoe Care

Got it, so you'd never use a wax polish over top of a shoe cream? Is there a good protectant you can use over the cream as it doesn't really repel water at all?

    Shoe Care

Ok so I've been searching other threads and the more I look the more confused I get. If I'm reading right, there are a few options for leather care/treatment Leather conditioner shoe cream shoe polish shoe wax I realize that the cream and polish basically treat the leather the same but give a...

    The Official Wine Thread

So, $200 on wine this week, and only one good bottle. A Burgundy!! You do realize that LCBO will exchange the wine if you don't like it right? Just bring it back and they'll refund your money (I was told this directly from the LCBO on Queens Quay in Toronto. Although it may be hard to pour...

    Living Alone.

Not really. My brain just refuses to think hard half the time. Actually all the time. Thanks for the replies by the way, don't really have any one to rely on most of the time, since my mother is neck deep in dept and usually doesn't give that great advice. You should learn from the example...

    Leather Handbag conditioner?

Picked up some Meltonian over the weekend. It works great. Doesn't darken the leather whatsoever.

    Leather Handbag conditioner?

So I picked up a beautiful leather messenger bag but noticed it's a little dry in some places. Is there a certain type of leather conditioner I can use on it? I tried using a shoe one on a small area and noticed that it darkened that area (even after a few hours of drying). Can I use a vehicle...

Decisions, decisions (Shoe choice help please)

Well currently have black cap-toe, brown and blue colours. I'm hoping to mate the shoes up with a light gray 3 piece suit or my navy 3-piece. I'm also looking at getting a second pair (was leaning towards burgundy), but I haven't looked at the style I'd like yet.

Decisions, decisions (Shoe choice help please)

Ok so I've decided it's time to get a pair of good quality shoes; or at least better quality than my last few pairs of Cole Haan's. I've narrowed it down to a few choices and I was hoping for feedback between the options listed. It's something I want to keep in my wardrobe for years to come...

Advice for a Young Man Just Starting Out...?

I'm not sure why everyone hates on Cole Haan so much. I think it depends on how much you use the shoe and how much abuse it'll get. I know for myself, my shoes get pretty beat wearing them for 8+hrs a day 5 days a week (even rotating through 3 pairs of regular shoes). Soles only last a year...
