HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III

I really, really like this. I should print out this picture and have a suit made just like it. (Our builds are not too different).

What kind of collar would you call this?

I always thought that the Daily Show's Jon Stewart was good dresser, and I always wondered what kind of collar you would call the ones that he typically wears: Would you call this a cutaway?

    Building muscle and suits.

Who are you talking to? Uh, I thought you were trying to have a conversation with me, when you started talking about your chicken and rice. Just politely move on, if you didn't feel like having a conversation. No need to be childish and try to make me look stupid. I really don't care about...

    Building muscle and suits.

I think we're all a little different. My gym buddy isn't the best eater, nor is he the best sleeper, and he can bench like there's no tomorrow. For me, benching has always been my weakness, but I did notice growth and steady progress when I started to make sure I got enough carbs in my diet...

    Building muscle and suits.

I go to the gym to build muscle. I've never had a suit before (just dress shirts and dress pants). Getting a bespoke suit is fine if you want to stay roughly the same weight for many years, but what if you want to gain weight? If you like slim fit suits, then how many pounds of muscle/fat...

    Building muscle and suits.

Yes but bulking is a great excuse to eat like crap and gain muscle Well, no, you can't just "eat like crap", unless you want to bulk up a lot of bodyfat along with that new muscle. You still need to avoid the Cheetos, the Taco Bells, and the McDonalds, and make sure you get proper nutrients...

Zeglio custom suits Chicago and Toronto

furosemide, If you can provide a review after you pick up your suit from Zeglio, that would be great. Despos is beyond my budget, but the higher-end fabrics on Zeglio's website look affordable (<$1200). I don't wear suits often, so I'm willing to spend that much on a MTM maker that gets good...

Zeglio custom suits Chicago and Toronto

Thanks for the info. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised with your feedback on the lower-end fabrics. Those are very cheap on their website. I'm curious about the mid- and upper-end of of their fabrics, which still appear affordable. Any other experiences?

Suit House? (bespoke in Chicago and Detroit)

No, I haven't been in one yet. Thanks for the info.

Zeglio custom suits Chicago and Toronto

Anyone have any experience with these guys? Their prices seem great, and I'm curious if anyone has made a suit made here. www.zeglio.com

Suit House? (bespoke in Chicago and Detroit)

So, it's probably MTM then? I'm curious if anyone has any experiences. And also, and experience with these folks: www.zeglio.com

what brand jeans is your favorite ?

Old Navy's Painters jeans fit me perfectly. My favorite jeans brand is Diesel. Unfortunately i can only afford one pair per year.. but they are worth it every cent. They don't fit me. lol. You must have very skinny legs for Diesel.

Suit House? (bespoke in Chicago and Detroit)

I'm curious if anyone has any experiences/reviews with Suit House...a retailer with locations in Chicago and Detroit. They sell off-the-rack suits, but also make customs suits "starting at $495" according to their websites: www.shsuperstore.com Any thoughts, comments, experiences, complaints...

    Hugo Boss is crapola

I could never compare the two with all sincerity. I am merely saying that I do indeed enjoy my Boss suits but do realize that they have a shelf life....unlike the Brioni which I can wear forever. Yet, I still wear them as I happen to think that my tailor did a great job and the suits look...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Do you think a close-up photo of the collar WITHOUT your tie would be too much trouble? TIA! Oops, I forgot. I'll post a new picture in the next few days. Clearly, if you like the shirt, that's all that matters. You should take comments here with a grain of SF salt, but it seems like you're...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Hey phxlawstudent, thanks for the feedback. Ok, I'm posting new pictures. This time, I tucked in more "normally". I moved around a bit, so that the shirt is more natural. And I'm not wearing an undershirt. I also took a close-up of the collar, as someone had asked: I thought 15% BFP was...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Thanks for your replies. Wow, I didn't think that the chest/waist look too tight. Like, by how much? Maybe I don't have "the eye" for this? Or is it because it's the best-fitting dress shirt I've had so far, that it still looks like an improvement to me (from what I've had in the past). Never...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Especially for me. I have a thick neck, broad shoulders, and developed upper traps. Off-rack shirts size 17" fit me perfectly on the shoulders and neck, but are HUGE around the midsection. They look outright ridiculous, even the "slim fit" Tommy Hilfiger shirt is ridiculously huge, or at least...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Deadly, The fabric was "Blue Royal Oxford Made in Japan / v121b" which, it appears, is no longer available. It was on sale for $39.95. I think that the original price was around $60 or $70. I ordered Thick MOP Unbranded Buttons which coast $5 extra, as opposed to getting the regular...

Modern Tailor.com review - my experience

Here's the shirt that I got from Modern Tailor, and I'm very happy with it. The collar is a Large One-Button Cutaway. The fabric is a blue royal oxford. Reason I'm posting these pictures is because I hope someone considering Modern Tailor will find them useful. I'm new to buying tailored...
