Tall, skinny guy at WITS END

Oliver makes a nice slim button down that runs on the longer side. Top button to the bottom of the shirt is 30.5" on a Small and the sleeve is 27" from shoulder to end of sleeve. Oliver also makes cool polos, again running on the longer slimmer side. What are your measurements? Bottom of neck...

    Crap Jeans and busted denim

This has happened to me as well with a pair of citizens Denim that is distressed will definitely wear through a lot faster than non distressed jeans or raw denim. I also find that putting them in the dryer made the worn part in the crotch area deteriorate much faster. My advice... don't wash...

Trench sleeves too short? please help

I think that it is a little bit too short, not super noticable short though. I would say that the sleeve should end about a half inch above where your thumb starts. It should definately cover your shirt sleeve.

    High-quality JEANS

How much exactly is cheap? I think it's rare that high quality and cheap are ever put together. I don't think I have ever paid under a hundred bucks for jeans. I do feel better about the purchase when I know I got them for a deal though.

    Hole in armpit

You should bring it into a tailor and have it sewn up. You wouldn't make the hole bigger or have it run.

Let's get the denim weight thing straight.

I agree, the tightness of weave makes a big different and how you wear them too. if you wear them hard everyday they will stretch more than if you don't. In my experience Earnest Sewn jeans stretch out quite a bit.

    Looking for NYC recommendations

I'm not really sure how different the selection from Barney's NYC and Barney's LA is but since the styles vary a bit from the west coast to east costs you'll probably find a number of things you don't see in Barney's LA. Different buyers, different places, different styles. It would be worth...

A week before the contest end date you should do the "Master Cleanse" it basically consists of drinking this special drink: juice freshly squeezed from 1 lemon, 2 tbs of grade B maple syrup and a pinch of cyanne pepper. You have to drink 6-10 glasses of this a day. At nigh you need to drink a...

Is this a possible job for a tailor?

The Jacket can definately be tailored, just make sure that the tailor is a reputable one. My suggestion for a slim fitting button down shirt is Steven Allen, Band of Outsiders, Yoko Devereaux, and this new label we carry Oliver has a slim fit as well, Factory People also carry this line too.

    Onitsuka tigers, stitched soles?

I love my Onitsukas but the soles are definately glued on, but I still think that they are well made. They take a bit to break in though.
