    Random health and exercise thoughts

Added burpees to my calisthenics today. I never felt so good leaving the gym but just doing 4 was pretty hard, hoping to eventually move up to 10 per set. 5k jog 10 pull ups > 10 - 12 pushups > 4 burpees x 4 5 weighted pull ups > 10 -12 Push ups > 10 Pull ups > 4 burpees x 4 10...

NachoBroadway: Don't let them get you down, do you son. But don't do it in that rugby shirt dig? I'm going through the same thing so I understand, changing your look takes time. Just keep trying and start off with some basics. That rugby was a lil too much

Park Aves are perfectly fine as a basic dress shoe. Maybe a little boring but I wouldn't call it old man looking (especially compared to a lot of things I see in the MC forum) +1 I have on a pair of AE park avenues in my post a few pages back. Simple shoe, love 'em

    New gap denim

just picked up a pair in the straight (more like slim) fit for $49 using the weekly 45% coupon at the mall, although they didn't have my actual waist size. i'm normally a 31x32 and these are a 30x32, they're pretty damn tight at the waist so I hope these stretch some in that area.... anyone care...

    J Crew Fall/Winter 2010 Discussion

    J. Crew's sizing is so inconsistent. I'm 6'2 , 215 pretty broad shoulders and a sz L is ridicuously too big. My usual jacket size is a 44L and usual shirt size is L or / 15.5 - 16 Anyone with similar measurements wearing a M ?

    Advice: lose some weight!

I I do the clean eating (read: oatmeal with fruits and flaxseed oil, low-sodium turkey on multigrain, or lentil soup with a salad, grilled chicken and roasted veggies w/ hummus) often, but find it hard to stay on that course day in and day out. +1 and yes its hard as hell. Especially late night...

Thanks for the support. Joei, while your progress is nice and all, that alligator is killing your fit (and jeans look a bit too lifeless and cardboardy), burn it with fire. Right now the tops in my wardrobe consists of mostly lacoste and prl. That's what I have to work with it for a while...

So I know that you're enjoying losing the weight, and everyone on here is going to tell you you look infinitely better...22 pounds in 2.5 weeks is NOT healthy man. And I say this as someone who studies medicine. You should be looking at 2-3 pounds a week...10 per week is unhealthy. Over 2months...

keep up the progress, losing weight and getting healthy is a beautiful thing Thanks man, I have a long need-to-cop list so I need to get my waist down. I check your blog every once in a while, and I have to say you're one of the only people I've seen who has actually walked the walk. You're...

    Random health and exercise thoughts

Apparently when you order a five-pound tub of protein from muscleandstrength.com, you get a bunch of free supp samples. Among the samples was one of those fat burners/appetite suppressants. I'm in the midst of a cut right now, so I took it this morning. Feeling a bit energetic, though I'm...

    Random health and exercise thoughts

Gym newbs annoy me. One at the gym this morning dropped a 15lb weight while doing standing shoulder presses with incorect form. The weight bounced and hit my ankle and fucked my curling set. (50lbs in each arm). I guess he saw the rage in my face, he bought me a protein shake and water. All was...

    Random health and exercise thoughts

don't you have fun at the gym? I do. It's one of the few place I can be alone with my thoughts and the only thing that I have in mind is pushing that frikking bar. Personally, I see it as a long term activity/hobby rather than ''get that 6-pack for summer'' so I wouldn't really trade it for...

dude i spent like all my money on food not trying to say that anyone is wasting their money, i just genuinely don't like drinking and save a lot of money because of it totally agree, i see my friends spend $100+ on drinks in a bar, I might spend $10 most on two waters since I dont drink. down...

Ultimate noob thread - recommend me X in my wardrobe - post questions here please.

If Alden Indies are what you want, I'd save up for them. The whole point of the boots is that they'd last a long time and look good; if you buy a similar boot you don't like as much, you'll be stuck with it for years. Good leather shoes are completely worth going outside of your price range. I...
