Sorry to hear that Lucy but glad it can be repaired. My Brigg is beyond repair as the frame was smashed and the broken ribs punctured the cover. How bad was it with you? You will see from the last two posts that we have been having umbrella-breaking winds here in the UK. Certainly in London on Monday it was gusting to almost 70 mph. Several people in our office had umbrella damage in Monday's storm.....- Stever174

Recent purchase was a green golf umbrella (fox) from Turnbull and Asser in London. Slightly smaller (27 inches) than my Brigg golfer which is 30 inches. I agree entirely, and knew I was taking a risk trying to use the Brigg against such a storm. However, ever the gentleman, the rain was absolutely torrential and I was trying to keep Sarah sheltered. How are you measuring that 62" JL - is it the width across the canopy or something else? Here in the UK we tend to measure the circumference although I believe my Brigg golfer is a 30" which is half the width of the canopy, making it 60" all across.
