The GW jacked its prices up, which is pretty disappointing as 90% of their inventory is junk from Wal-Mart and Kohls, not even Target. I did find a LL Bean OCBD Trad striped shirt in my size, brand new and I feel it was a good price at $4.25. Other than that: junk. Didn't hit the SA this week...- Trotsky1940

Bought a '80s Brooks Brothers 3/2 roll sack blue jacket. It fits absolutely, utterly perfectly. I figure it's '80s, the tag is in the all caps block lettering, is that right. Anyone else notice how badly BB shirts wear on the sleeve cuff? The ones I see are in great condition other than that, which makes them so very leavable. Farm Tactics. Sold out though. Not to give anything away, but ebay has those for $10, just google Machine gun tool roll, and all you need are Alice Clips (they attach it to the belt, just google it) I did this and have something that is essentially the same, for $12 or so.- Trotsky1940

SPIN: Worst expensive item you've ever bought
I thrift most of my stuff, but my first suit, bought in 2002 before I knew anything, was $150 (a decent bunch of cash for a broke student) and was a fake Italian brand. I have worn it less that 4 times and it sits in my basement; I will never wear that ill-fitting, polyester POS ever again.- Trotsky1940

Today I saw a man wearing pleated denim
They sell this **** at Kohl's and I've always wondered who wore such things. I mean, pleated Jeans? And they're always in that really light blue soft denim that only old men seem to wear, so maybe that's the answer to my question?- Trotsky1940

Should you let your wife or girlfriend buy your clothes?
If my wife had her way I would be outfitted in dark blue shirts and black pants most of the time. I would describe her sense of male fashion as very, very conventional.
