    Relocating to Cincinnati

Cinci is a nice city, but it's not quite as cosmopolitan as Austin. There's a good brewery / beer garden called the Haufbrauhaus just across the river, and the architecture is fairly old school and nice. It's probably the best city in Ohio honestly. Winters are a bit colder. It's not a bad...

    Too Dressy for Business?

I live in TX and I'm about to start working as an accountant (So Much Fun!) Ironically, I just found out that the way I dress is too forward for the environment that I'll be joining. By this I mean, apparently the only people who wear suits are the Partners, top dogs in the firm. I was told...

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

I believe August also made the suits for the first movie and had made suits for Downey prior, so it's possible this is how he got into making the suits for the movies. [Italian accent]"I know dis guy"[/Italian accent]

Best dressed brawlers you'll see this week

    FTFY. $25k watch, not bad.

Best dressed brawlers you'll see this week

I love how the guy not wearing a suit is the one getting totally rocked. Like, he clearly deserves it. "No jacket? That's a punchin'!"

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

I wonder if they intended for Tony to look deliberately loud. I won't go so far as to say tasteless (even though I didn't like his suits). But unlike the Bruce Wayne character, Tony Stark is known to be a bit of an asshole (and raging alcoholic) playboy-type. That kind of personality coupled...

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

He was cheap? I wonder how the movie budget gets decided - "Well, let's have him *look* like someone that has a million to spend on suits" "But we *don't* have a million to spend on suits!" "Find me someone who can fake a million dollar looking suit!" I did notice that they had a cuter in the...

Best dressed brawlers you'll see this week

actually that is an SF inner circle meeting. The guy in the pullover questioned the stylistic superiority of the Rubinacci/Napoli silhouette. This would not surprise me in the least...

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

Interesting. I never heard of this guy, I thought everything looked vaguely billionaire coutourish Interesting stuff. Wonder why they'd go with him instead of Tom Ford-ish.

Because sometimes even the most elegantly dressed men need to prove points with fisticuffs: WSJ photo journal

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

I have now also started wearing a matching pocket square in my ticket pocket for that super symmetry look. Epic!

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

Tom Ford did that one time during his Gucci days. Not sure about this more recent incarnation on Tony Stark though.... How did the Tom Ford jacket fasten? Snaps?

Tony Stark suit from Iron Man 2

If you've seen Iron Man 2, you'll notice that the protagonist, Tony Stark (Iron Man) is fond of nice suits. One of them in particular seemed odd - it looks like a double-breasted suit, but it doesn't have any buttons on the front. It can be seen where he's giving a speech for the Stark expo...

"You look like you're dressed up for a prom!" - How do you take that?

Could be material. Maybe the fit isn't right for your body - too tight around the hips and thighs while being too baggy in the legs. But then again, from your profile if it's 100+ in the summer, then there's nothing you can do about it. Maybe try some lightweight wool pants instead. I would...

"You look like you're dressed up for a prom!" - How do you take that?

Tie looks like something leftover from private school.. Pocket sq in that manner is ugly. A white pocket sq is always elegant or adds a nice look to an outfit. Take more than 2 seconds to put in in your pocket so that it looks respectable. I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree on the tie...

"You look like you're dressed up for a prom!" - How do you take that?

Tie and puffy pocket square are also ugly! You sir, need help. Of all the things wrong in the photo, the pocketsquare is not one of them. The tie works well and isn't ugly. If you wish for your opinion to be respected, make sense first. At a bare minimum, say *why* you believe something to be so.

"You look like you're dressed up for a prom!" - How do you take that?

Your pants are too long and baggy. You need to iron it too. Shoes look pretty mediocre and Rockport-ish but I can't really tell from the blurry pic. The whole outfit - khakis, blue shirt, yellow tie - lacks creativity or style. Not saying it's brutal or anything, but it's basically standard...

"You look like you're dressed up for a prom!" - How do you take that?

Are you a masochist? Posting such picture on SF must be suicidal. *shrug* Face is already all over the internet. Finding photos of a photographer isn't much of a challenge, so it's not like I have anything to loose heh. And people I know in RL around me... Well, dressing up and debating the...
