For Sale: Stubbs & Wootton Burgundy Velvet Slippers 9.5US

Worn all of two times before I realized they're just too small for me. In great shape, with very minimal wear (as you can see from the photos). The shoe bag and cloth they came with included. Price includes shipping in the continental US. Would also consider a trade for size 10US Stubbs.

LBM 1911 Navy Jacket - 36R (Fits slightly large) Washed Wool/Mohair Blend

Can't really argue with a navy jacket. This is actually one of my favorite pieces. Just have to admit that it's a little too slim for me, finally. Unstructured, washed 78/22 Wool/Mohair blend. Worn, but in great shape. The darkest photos are most representative of the color in person, but a...

5EP x Styleforum jean: poll and opinions

they look quite nice. i'm impressed. i think that reworking the shape of the back rise is a very good idea though. that denim wedgie look is just bad for everyone. i think it puts the pockets at a bit of a strange angle as well. i'm excited to see the sample.

Cult Pop, i can see you playing with

a friend of mine's brother is in the band, so you'd be supporting him by seeing man man, which would be supporting me because he's a friend, which would be supporting styleforum because i'm a member. thus: supporting man man = supporting style forum. go for it. (hooray for deeply flawed logic)

SUPERFUTURE GHETTO thread: All things Supertalk

i have unread PM's and....and.....dammit dammit dammit! if this is one of those "hey, we're going to be down until the rest of your life" things again i will be deeply bummed out. though i've noticed that sufu only really crashes when i've got **** tons of stuff to do for class, so...

Nudie gone AmJack, or just making washes "cool" again?

that wash looks pretty damn good worn. seeing it just hanging i wasn't anywhere near as impressed as i was actually seeing it on a person.

Best shoe / sneaker brand (overall):

gotta go with vans. cons are just uncomfortable in my opinion. i love the look, and i own some, but i never wear 'em b/c the soles are way too thin. the sk8 hi has to be one of the great high tops. just a great shape.

Nudie gone AmJack, or just making washes "cool" again?

nudie as diesel has been something that i've considered as well. i hope it doesn't happen. we don't need the kind of extreme crap that diesel puts out sometimes coming from anyone else. but, i can see the similarities: emphasis on modern fits and new styles some strange things they insist on...

Advice on losing the bootcut on my RRDS

would any tailor be willing to alter it from the inseam, do you think? i'd imagine it would be quite involved, though, and possibly more (potentially) damaging to the jeans. is that the case? i clearly know very little about the actual nuts and bolts of tailoring, even if i'm aware of what...

Advice on losing the bootcut on my RRDS

that's interesting just because the inseam is the seam where the actual bootcut is happening. i mean the outseam has to be straight, it's selvage. i'd love to get this done to mine too, but i'm not sure i trust any of the tailors around here (new orleans) to listen to me/not just do whatever...

Nudie gone AmJack, or just making washes "cool" again?

ok, i'm seeing where you're coming from now i think. they're doing something with this wash that's more of a "you could never get this just from wearing your jeans" thing, right? i suppose that makes sense. i mean, raw/"dark denim" has been the thing for a little while now...

Nudie gone AmJack, or just making washes "cool" again?

nudie's had washes for ages. they built the brand image on dry denim, but there's always been pre-distressed stuff in their collections. i think they've always been interested in appealing to a relatively large market share. they've got modern cuts, wide range of styles, nothing really...

    Getting Smaller

thanks for the info guys. i suppose i should give more info. calories per day is around 1400 or 1500 discounting alcohol (i'm in college). I go out drinking a few nights a week, and to tell the truth i'm not really sure how much a night out adds to the calorie count. that's pretty low, i...

    College Frats (opinions? experiences?)

The frat guys (not all, but in my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) at my university are the kind of guys that lean out of their cars to throw cans at people like me and shout "***!" By people like me I mean people that aren't decked out in a&f jeans, a polo shirt, and a backwards tattered...

    Getting Smaller

Ok, so I've been working out a lot for the past month and a half, but I don't feel i'm getting the kind of results I want. I've been doing the weight machines at the gym as well as cardio. After I lift, I have a whey protein shake. I haven't been losing weight, but i'm pretty sure i've put on a...
