    Another Watch Recommendation Thread

2 or 3. #1 looks like a pseudo antique, sort of a caricature, rather than an actual style. The Mont Blanc to me (sorry MB fans) has more of the appearance of a kid's watch... or a Swatch. Definite pass. I like elegant, simple designs, which would normally make #3 the winner... but German...

Belt and braces....tsk tsk. That's why he has to pack.

    shoe brush replacement

The brushes are not for application of polish. You need to use a dauber for that. If you have used the brushes for application of polish, you may have ruined them. The different colored brushes are to help you remember which brush you use with brown and which with black.

WIDE "1970s-style" lapels from Polo by Ralph Lauren

dont think those are very wide. only slightly wider than stuff from attolini. not extraordinary wide. So I'm guessing this probably doesn't look very wide to you, either:

Second Life for a Suit [pictorial]

I think the "new life" will be its best life. Well done, and wonderful thread.

    Gucci or Ferragamo Horsebit Loafers

The Ferragamos. Their construction is more refined and the last much more elegant. Those Guccis wouldn't be much uglier if they were built on a potato for a last.

    Help ID these jeans.

CRUEL! dont bother telling people that they are asking in the wrong board, if they chose your board then you are stuck with them, don't hand them off to sw&d!!!! I just can't be bothered at the moment with ripping him to shreds.. They have fun with that sort of thing over there... Why not!?!

School me on mens shoe brands. Looking for dress shoes that can go with suits.

Slow down.. Go to Nordstroms and have them measure you, then try on shoes to see what fits best. Like others have suggested, I would also recommend trying Allen Edmonds. If this is your first pair of quality dress shoes, you don't need to get anything exotic, and you should try whatever shoe...

    Help ID these jeans.

It's posted on the wrong board anyway. Move it here and see how well the joke goes over.

    id these allen edmonds

Do any current- (or recent-) production AE bluchers have exposed eyelets? None come to mind, but I may be overlooking something.

    Help ID these jeans.

If this is not a joke, you need to quickly turn it into one. Might be easier to ID the shirt, for all the picture shows.

    id these allen edmonds

They look beat to hell, whatever they are. That's exactly what they are. (No need to ID them any further.) I find it incredibly difficult to believe that they sold for that much (although the ebay noob slugfest on the bids might explain a lot.) Good thing they sold with the trees... at least...

    STP Discounts

I haven't been thrilled with many of the deals I've seen there recently. Last thing I've bought from them was a couple of HF shirts. Nice shirts, OK price, but not a steal, by any stretch of the imagination. Haven't seen anything else that looked good enough to jump at.. suits.. shoes...

    Steve Jobs style

Jesus, a lot of people really want to be Steve Jobs' boyfriend, don't they? Is that the best you can do? Please check back if you have something articulate to say.

    Unwanted sliding of belt

This may not be it, but it is possible that the pants were cut and assembled with the nap of the fabric facing in one direction. This could cause the belt to move in that direction.

    Steve Jobs style

The man looks like an IT guy from silicon valley, probably the complete antithesis of steez if ever there was one. People seem to forget that just because a man is rich doesn't mean that he is always right. Bang! You're dead! ....Just like that. While you were snickering at his clothing, he...

    Shenzhen and Hong Kong Tailors

In my opinion, 5-6 days is not enough time for proper bespoke clothing. Even if you go directly to a tailor and get measured on your first day, and a tailor is willing to try to complete clothing for you within that time frame, I believe you would be too rushed with subsequent fittings to have...

    Steve Jobs style

So his attire, his style is deliberate and it works for his audience. Exactly. I doubt one could name a more calculating individual, nor one whose business is more dependent on design. Does anyone actually think he fell into this particular wardrobe by accident? (And by accident happened to...

    Steve Jobs style

.. Tucking in a shirt without a collar makes you look marsupialed. His jeans are hideous. One person's opinion. Seems to work for him (and I'd wager he's doing better than anybody on this board.)
