    RLPL Ties...

Are they all 7-fold? There is a strange little article explaining 7-Fold ties on the website, I was wondering if their ties were 7-fold...? Also, how is the width of the PL ties right now? If Marinella does not produce real 7-folds I think RLPL never did or stooped it long ago. See...

    Flannel suits?

I did have a peek at 2 or 3 fantastic charcoal grey flannel suits at Henry Poole... I'm 38 and i would like to know what is your take on flannel suits... Are they reserved to 50 years-old commuters or are timeless pieces of pure elegance? http://img172.echo.cx/img172/3906/untitledsdd4bs.jpg...

Not to mention that the finishing and fabrics are also incredible. They are pricey, though. Could you give an indication? Paul

    Bamboo Fabric

I own an Isaia bamboo jacket; it is one of my favourites. It is extremely soft with a beautiful shine but - alas - extremely vulnerable as well. Lovely fabric but impossible to travel with puts it only mildly. Paul

    Shoes & Cuffs

Gentlemen, Is there a way to prevent your beautifully polished shoes from staining your trousers? Does it help if you use a last layer of uncoloured wax? Or do we just have to live with unsightly cuffs (especially on light chinos)? Regards, Paul

    Burgol

Gentlemen, This Swiss maker of shoe polish and -wax claims to be superior to all other manufacturers on the market, including Saphir. For those who can read German: www.burgol.de/pdf/schuhpflege-mit-burgol.pdf, page 8 (including rather convincing pictures). This seems to be a rather bold...

Plal.com Deliveries into the European Union

Have a look here, that explains it quite well: http://www.sloanefox.freeserve.co.uk/imptaxwng.htm The principle is the same throughout the EU. Tax rates are unified, VAT rates vary from country to country (don't forget Germany's rate has just gone up to 19%). The price of the merchandise and...

You think these are real Brioni ties on Ebay?

[QUOTE=Dapper Dandy]I bought a "Brioni" tie from a Lebanese seller, though not this one. The tie had a nice design, and seemed real until somebody here told me to check for the numbers in the back of the tie. I compared it to a real Brioni tie I owned and it didn't have the numbers. I posted...
