Yep, the buttons date it to around 2009

The Artist is Absent: The Official Maison Martin Margiela Thread

Jacket is 100% fake, the sneakers are fine though, and probably pretty valuable.

The Artist is Absent: The Official Maison Martin Margiela Thread

I'm 95% sure this coat is a fake (I'd need care tags to be sure). Spacing and stitching on the label tag is off. Also the cut doesn't look like early Margiela + early Margiela outerwear almost always used cotton for the lining rather than viscose.

    Margaret Howell/MHL

Both the mainline and MHL are manufactored mostly in Portugal, but bits are made around the UK depending on fabrics. Huh? I own probably 20-30 mainline pieces and all but(I think) 1 is made in england. And yeah, the MHL stuff is deffo worth the price. It's no different from the mainline in...

    I would never wear.....

short-sleeved shirts. They invariably look terrible on anyone without massive arms

Tops that look better with wear

i'm not sure if the body gets any better but collars on dress shirts always seem to develop a really nice character if you're going for a casual look. being a bit beaten up can look great on pretty much anything depending on the look you're going for...

Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

http://www.tresbienshop.net/en/art/s...eck-purple.php I can't decide if I like it enough to buy it. It has an interesting design but something is holding me back... That collar is really nice, but the texture on the main part of the jumper is a bit messy. I'd give it a miss.

    Uniqlo blazers

They're probably the best polyester blazers you'll find. This. Considering the price they sell at, Uniqlo never really dissapoint.
