We have them. Our word for them, however, is considerably cruder than "chav." I think every country/city has their own word for those sadly debased off-shoots of the human genus. In Australia the most commonly used are 'townies' or 'lads'.- Polemarch

ITT: The worst physical pain you've ever experienced
3 words, Bone Marrow Biopsy. About 2 years ago now. A 2.5mm thick needle first pucturing my skin, then being drilled, pushed, scraped into my pelvis bone by hand while I am fully conscious. No anasthetic. Quite agonising.- Polemarch

Feedback on an unusual casual jacket
Revised pattern: Narrow shoulders a tad Do the loop 2" or so below the pin. Agreed, Ill prob bring them in about 1cm. I will also try to narrow the chest a bit more. Wore it to a vampire themed uni-bar party last night and got some favorable comments, although I also discovered a design flaw...- Polemarch

The army surplus store in my town always has a few of those sun helmets floating around, if memory serves they are around the $40(Aus) mark. If there is a surplus store near you it would be worth a try.' Edit: A bit on the expensive side for a one off, but I once gave one of these as a birthday...- Polemarch
