    Age of Empires

Not my cup of tea. Seems a little childish. +1, All they should do is a re-make of Age 2 with shiny new graphics, windows 7 compatability and a good online matchmaker for multiplayer games and they will have an instant best seller. Best RTS ever made. Goths are my favourite, they produce...

The Right for a Dialect to evolve Vs. Preserving Meaning

We have them. Our word for them, however, is considerably cruder than "chav." I think every country/city has their own word for those sadly debased off-shoots of the human genus. In Australia the most commonly used are 'townies' or 'lads'.

ITT: The worst physical pain you've ever experienced

3 words, Bone Marrow Biopsy. About 2 years ago now. A 2.5mm thick needle first pucturing my skin, then being drilled, pushed, scraped into my pelvis bone by hand while I am fully conscious. No anasthetic. Quite agonising.

Revised pattern: Narrow shoulders a tad Do the loop 2" or so below the pin. Agreed, Ill prob bring them in about 1cm. I will also try to narrow the chest a bit more. Wore it to a vampire themed uni-bar party last night and got some favorable comments, although I also discovered a design flaw...

Feedback on an unusual casual jacket

Thanks for the feedback gents, much appreciated! Egdon Heath looking at the picture now I agree the buttons are not entirely congruent. I searched very hard for some antique finished pewter buttons, but they were not to be had in my area (or rather, I cannot afford to order them online right...

Feedback on an unusual casual jacket

Hi guys, I am hoping you could give me some thoughts/feedback on this casual jacket I have put together for myself. I imagine I will wear it most often in the evenings (ie. bars/clubs) in combination with jeans or a pair of red pants I have. As you can probably guess, I am fond of...

    Random fashion thoughts

Random thought: Mens fashion peaked during the Regency era. Bring back breeches and top boots.

    Teens hand in $100,000 catch

I am from Lismore, looks like I should go fishing more often If it was found out at Nimbin, then I would say 95% chance it is the proceeds of drug growing/dealing. The other possibility is that some drug addled feral inherited the money, and decided to stash it in a creek so that 'the man'...

    Pith helmet

The army surplus store in my town always has a few of those sun helmets floating around, if memory serves they are around the $40(Aus) mark. If there is a surplus store near you it would be worth a try.' Edit: A bit on the expensive side for a one off, but I once gave one of these as a birthday...
