Unloading 12D shoes and 40R suits

If anyone here lives close to Albany NY and wants a crack at a motherlode of barely used12D shoes (several EGs, c&js, RLPLs, Testoni, Lobbs, Stefanobi) and 40R suits (Canali, Isaia, {not my Attolinis]) for not much money, please email or pm me. If I was more motivated I would eBay them all...

    HOW MANY

You know, of course, these polls and questions are all beating around the bush. Biggest house, highest salary, fastest car and such are all just a way of talking around the big question: how big (well, propriety prevents me from continuing). Well, you know what I mean. It all doesn't matter anyway.

    Vass U last sizing

Could someone with experience with Vass shoes take a look at the following auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....IT&rd=1 The shoe is described as a European 45, which in some cases can fit my 11.5-12D feet. The seller lists it as an 11D. I would take a shot at these if Mr A Harris or you other...

Any 12Ds will be examined, scrutinized, and probably purchased sooner or later.

    white bucks

Who makes and where can I get some decent but not exorbitant white bucks? Ben Silver has some C&J ones but this is probably overkill for a twice a year shoe.

Do Alden cordovans ever go on sale?

My local upstate NY Alden retailer sells them at a 20% discount once a year in late fall.

    Pittsburgh's sartorial centers?

I am compelled to travel to Pittsburgh next week and will have the time and inclination to peruse things of interest. Thus, I was wondering if anyone knew of shops in Pittsburgh that would carry things of interest to the shoe- and clothing-obsessed. Thanks.

If one was feeling especially spendthrift, where would said person look for Berluti and Lattanzi in NYC and what would the general price range be? Anyone have any particular favorite models? Thanks.

    Armani Collezioni

C can be attractive, but in my experience wears out more rapidly than some of the better constructed suits and coats. The materials that are used can be interesting but the looser weaves may tend to snag easily. I don't but AC with the expectation that I will have it in use ten years from now...

    Pec & Co./Kabbaz shirts

I have had the opportunity to acquire about a dozen used white Pec. & Co. shirts by Mr. Kabbaz. They are about a 15.75 neck with a 33-34 sleeve with French cffs in fair condition. The chest is suited for someone who wears a 36 or 387 suit (which is too small for my huge 40R chest). If anyone...

    DAMN you, Styleforum!!

For clothing, I have been able to spend the same but to get better quality (no more Armani suits but Isaia and Barbera and such for less). For shoes, however, it is another story. I had no idea that there were such beautiful things as EGs or Lobbs to which I am now habituated (not to say...

    C&J Weymouth

It is always disheartening to find that the people you spend time with are such conformist fools. As long as you are happy with what you wear and are not lording over the more casually dressed, then be happy and content with how you are and how you look. Wear the Weymouths in good health. If...

    Left foot bigger than right?

(Left foot larger, right-handed) I guess I should thank you for bringing this up as I thought I was unusually constructed. My right shoes often need tongue pads to balance the fit.

    Edward Green Gladstone

Could someone please describe and/or provide a picture of the EG Gladstone? The EG sale has this in my size, but it is not depicted in the 2004 catalog I have. Thanks.

    Is this for real?

I agree it looks suspicious. If you read the feedbacks they all say "good" or "good deal" despite the buyers being different. The transactions all seem to be for a very small amount of money. It has to be fake.
