    Does anyone where a poppy?

I wear a poppy less with pride than with humility. That said, I'm happier that the British Legion is getting donations from people that don't understand the significance of the poppy than if they weren't getting the donations at all.

    Christys' Hats--Any Opinions?

I have a brown wool felt trilby, and am expecting to acquire a fur felt one at some point. I believe Christy's hat are extremely well made, given the price; they look good, fit well and keep the rain off. They may have stopped being produced, however. Hello, new member and all that sort of thing. I picked up a nice green harris tweed suit over the summer, so am looking forward to giving it some decent outings now that the weather is deteriorating enough to make wearing heavy fabric an option. In Cambridge at least tweed is still alive...

Should anybody be wanting to sell...

I am looking for a black wool single breasted dinner jacket, not too heavy, with (not overly wide) peak lapels, one button and no vents; matching trousers, and if possible a low cut waistcoat. I usually take a 40l jacket, with 34w 33l trousers. The measurements of a well-fitting suit jacket I...
