I've been looking at the Charcoal Tropical Wool Landsdown+Fenway in the SS12 Catalogue (Fig.20). Seems like the cuffs have been modified. I have the Charcoal Whipcord which I love. ^^My thoughts exactly. I have a pair of C&J rubber soled oxfords. I think they are marked Strattford (but they look like the ones called Radstock on C&J's website). I have no idea what the last no. is, but the fit is excellent, even though rubber soles are'nt as comfortable as leather soles...- Curholm

It seems to be a question of slippage in the heel, no gap. If I tighten the lacing and twist my feet, like Joenobody0 suggests, there's still some room left at the bottom for my heels to slip around. @ Leatherman: thanks a lot for the information! Perhaps my English is a bit poor. By the Chetwynd being a bit "tight" I mean that they feel overall smaller, which can be explained by the difference in the lasts, as you have pointed out (there's some more room for the toes in the 173 last)...- Curholm
