    Sorry about the separate post, but I'm getting contradictory advice. Vass recommends 44.5, a German retailer recommends 44, an experienced SF member recommends 43.5, and SF thread recommendations also vary. Any other 10.5Ds with firsthand F last experience? Thanks!

    Just bought a nice used trench (my first) that might need shortening. Is 3" below the knee too long? I'm thinking that the optimal length is bottom-of-knee (similar to attached picture) but would appreciate your thoughts.
