we can tell if the jeans are artificially distressed in contests like this it's very clear who the winner is usually I've seen the skulls contest and I have got to tell you the top prize didn't look any better than second, third, or fourth place. I might have missed this but I was wondering who will be the judges, will it be all the members here? If so, members will choose based on what they like most even if they are artificially distressed, which can be a problem for those legitimately trying. They get other jeans besides hip hop jeans at every marshalls, but your area probably has a very hooked up reseller like mine does. My homeboy buys up all the best stuff right when the store opens and scalps it on craigslist and other avenues. He knows employees and they tell him when the stuff...- TDV

YMMV the ones around me get some occassionally but they are usually nasty ass washed kinds that were from years ago with paper back tags and are even made in Japan! Where does marshalls find this stuff? rinsed ones are hard to come by especially in a good size - the majority of rrl jeans...- TDV

Levis lvc 501 1947 shrink-to-fit advice
you have to buy them from either ebay or EU/JP, Levis USA has discontinued them because of poor sales since most people here have the same mentality about levis as you do, cheap.. and would not want to shell out $180 for Levis raw STFs. There are a lot of things better about LVC than the $35...- TDV

then came back again as it being sold in the RRL boutiques and select Ralph Lauren boutiques, mostly just with the jeans being sold at the Ralph Lauren boutiques. what??? I myself personally swear by RRLs. They are best made jeans on the planet, but I will agree that they won't fit everyone...- TDV
