Balmoral Boot Appreciation
Regarding the Rider Boot balmoral, I'm sure they are Blake/Rapid Stitched, as the Martegani factory where Rider Boots are made does not do Goodyear. Price, I'm told, will be $750-775, plus $95 for the lasted trees if you want them. As for getting them in calf, I don't know what Ron's plans are...- Jon1

Thanks for the answer... can I be a pain and ask for the length and width of the sole? Amerikajinda, The length of sole is 12&5/8" The width of the sole at its narrowest point (directly in front of the heel) is 2&7/8" The width of the sole at its widest point (pinky toe across ball) is 4&1/2"...- Jon1

Great pictures! So would you say these fit like an 11D US? 11.5D US? 10.5D US? (Using Allen Edmonds as the benchmark, since most AE seem to run pretty true to size). Thanks, I think the natural light helps a lot. Regarding sizing, I wear UK 11E in EG Dover (606 last) and CJ Brecon (341 last)...- Jon1

Why don't you call Sky Valet in Washington and see if they'll do it? I'm sure they could do it right if they're willing. Help me decide between these shoes
Have you looked at the Loding shoes? Well yes, of course, though it's useful to read what people have to say about these various styles after having worn them for awhile. In store impressions can be deceiving, especially when the help is less than sterling. But your point is well taken. I suppose a shoe shopping trip to New York...- Jon1
