Is the new TV series 'Suits' any good?

Looking for something entertaining on TV these days. Boardwalk and Curb don't do it for me; Entourage sucks; Weeds has been interesting, but not too much of a disappointment compared to its former seasons. Netflix just got Mad Men, so I'm thinking about starting that series again, but before I...

a quick question for young professionals/ aspiring professionals

I can't tell if that was sarcastic or not :/ Being better than the other candidates is in fact a sure fire way to get a job. What people don't grasp is that being better than everyone else is an easily achievable goal. Yes, it was sarcastic. I guess it depends on who you're competing with and...

a quick question for young professionals/ aspiring professionals

All the jobs I've ever had have been as a result of tenuous familial connections paired with a CV/ Interview Manner that makes employers mess their pants. Your best bet is to call in every favour you've ever been owed, and make sure you follow it up with every possible ounce of research. As an...

a quick question for young professionals/ aspiring professionals

Curious, for those of you who are young and have established yourself pretty well, how did you get your first job? Application? Referral? Connection-- i.e. friend in the company, daddy dollar's business, etc.? Did that lead you down your career path, or did you leverage something from it...

Workout throughout day vs. one big workout

Oh great...here we go. Another new guy know-it-all versus our resident know-it all. How why manages to attract these people, I'll never know. I'm new to these forums, but not to what I'm speaking on.

    Chin ups . . . old school.

it's the same 50% that squats 600, benches 400, runs a four minute mile, and only hooks up with arthur kade nines or higher. Extremely well put.

Workout throughout day vs. one big workout

So say I wake up and do 22 pushups. Then again later around lunch I do 20 more. Then in the afternoon more, and then a couple times before bed. That's about 100 pushups. Add in a few sets of chin-ups and pull-ups throughout the day when I walk past the doorway with the chinup bar. Maybe some...

Workout throughout day vs. one big workout

Because fatigue isn't a stimulus per se. Do you know the physiological processes of muscle growth? If not, don't speak. To achieve "growth," you need to work them to their maximum capacity in, approximately, a fairly intense 1-hour session.

These "I'm drunk on SF" threads need to stop. They're ******* pathetic. No ****. Who gets drunk and wants to get on an internet forum?

    What are you reading?

Clancy Martin's "How to Sell." Great coming of age book that I could see a lot of people on here enjoying. John Updike-ish; Its a quick read, and I highly recommend looking it up. Finished this. Moved on to Fitzgerald's "This Side of Paradise."

    This interior is amazing

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the modern BMW interiors though I think they look okay. I just rented a brand new Audi last week and the interior grew on me a little. I always thought the e39 M5 had the best interior I'd ever seen in a non-exotic. Looks a lot like my e46 330i...

    help me find this item

I'm looking for a Baracuta G9 type jacket that is either suede or a brown leather. I thought I had actually seen a vintage G9 that was leather on eBay in the past month, but haven't seen one since. Does this item/ something comparable exist? Thanks.

Please help me with this t-shirt design

I'm trying to improve the design of this shirt for a fraternity formal. We are playing off of the NBA slogan "Where will amazing happen?" We tried to use an ESPN-like font, and drew the Lebron graphic. Any ideas as to the layout of the shirt that will make it more appealing? Here's the link...
