Altering suit sleeve length
Thanks, those were the terms I was looking for. She probably doesn't know how to re-taper the placket. Is it hard? Do most tailors know how? Just to clarify: I need them lengthened. She says she can't do it (or it can't be done) without sewing the cuff shut, so there is no overlap of fabric. I don't really believe her. are there functioning buttons? if so there isn't a whole lot that can be done. if not, she's just not willing to...- king_pen

T-shirts under suit jackets
i have never liked the look of a tee with a jacket, and until recently i couldn't quite figure out why. it's because there is no shirt coming out of the sleeve. the jacket looks incomplete in my opinion if it just goes from jacket to skin.- king_pen

How long does it take you to put non-swivel backed cufflinks on?

Why are my pants wrinkling like this? (photos)
I guess I am not staring closely enough at the crotches in the What Am I Wearing threads but I don't recall seeing this type of heavily pronounced, set-in wrinkling. So, how common can it be? When my arms are straight down, the length is fine. Just reaches the hinge of my wrist Should it land a little below, and actually touch the top side of my hand? What do you do with odd suit jackets when the trousers wear out, especially striped?
this has happened to me with a couple of my suits and depending on the cut/style of the jacket i have either gotten rid of the suit altogether or as others have suggested wear it with darker denim.- king_pen
