    Paul Stuart Website

I've made several orders from the PS website. Reliability and shipping speed were fine. Return was easy and credit was prompt. No complaints.

    What's your favorite shirt?

My favorites: T&A Light grey twill with thin lavender stripes Spread collar French cuffs Borrelli Light blue / pink glen plaid Spread collar Button cuffs.

    Video rental

Count me as a satisfied Ohio Netflix subscriber.  Turnaround time has been excellent, although it likely depends on proximity to one of the distribution centers (don't know where you are in Ohio, but there is a center here in Cleveland).  As others have mentioned, availability of the films in...

How do others rate Allen Edmond Shoes

Pros: many sizes/widths available; "recrafting" program (new heels, soles, etc.) is apparently good, although I've not yet used it; often available at significant discounts at outlets or on EBay; lack of steel shank is touted as making airport metal detectors less of a hassle (although...

    Zegna "MTM" experience

I don't believe any of my Zegna MTM suits have sizes marked in them, but I will confirm this evening.

Opinions, Please, on these eBay items

So long as the measurements suit you, I think you should take the Zegna blazer. I have the same model, regrettably purchased for a higher price, and have been very satisfied with it.

    I couldn't agree more.

    Advice on MTM suit

I second uppercase's caveat about avoiding MTM at department stores. As mentioned in another thread, my worst tailoring experience involved a Zegna MTM suit, for which I was measured by the store's tailor, with a totally unacceptable result.

    Your favorite RTW Shirts Makers

My favorite: Charvet. I've found that Charvet RTW fits me well and also wears well. I also like the fabrics and, since I prefer french cuffs, the style as well. T&A is a close second. I prefer the T&A collar style, but find that T&A RTW doesn't fit quite as well.

    workhorse suit

My workhorse suits are a solid charcoal Zegna MTM and a solid navy Oxxford.

    tailoring horror stories

By far the worst experience I've had was with a Zegna MTM suit I purchased through the local outpost of a large department store chain. The "tailor's" measurments were so poor, that the suit's side vents were cut in such a way that they were permanently opened, and the vest was much...

Which one has better merchandise ?

I'll echo Ambulance Chaser's comments. For dress furnishings and tailored clothing, NM, especially the larger locations (Chicago, Bal Harbour, Boston, etc.) has a superior selection. Saks generally seems to have a larger and more varied selection of sportswear, even in some of the smaller locations.

What shirt should I wear with a grey suit.

My favorite shirt/tie combination with a solid charcoal suit: light grey twill, double-cuff shirt with lavender stripes from T&A and a pink, light pink and lavender T&A tie. I usually also wear a white linen pocket square with a lavender edge and purple or pink silk knots. This...

    luciano barbera shirt fit

The Luciano Barbera dress shirts that I've purchased have a fuller fit, more like the fit of Borrelli than that of Brioni or Charvet. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Barba shirts, so I cannot accurately compare the Barbera fit to that of Barba.

    Bally ?

Since 2000, I've had a pair of Bally monkstraps in brown pebble-grain with rubber sole. This pair has performed well as a foul weather shoe and shows little wear despite regular use.

What to carry, where to keep it

Pocket square in outside left breast pocket Very slim credit card/ID case in inside right breast pocket (no bulky, George Costanza-style wallet for me) Pen in inside left breast pocket Cell phone (Nokia 6560) in lower inside left pocket Sterling silver money clip in front trouser pocket

    Zara

In my experience, Zara is cheaper in Europe. I purchased a couple of shirts earlier this year for 24.00 Euros each and a cotton sweater for about 35.00 Euros in Brussels. Quality is so-so, but the styling is decent and sleeve and body length are nice, as I'm a bit on the short side.

    Favorite dress belts

I agree.  A brown croc belt with a plain buckle is a simple and elegant way to accessorize both dress and casual clothing.

    Liberty of london

You may want to try Maus & Hoffman, which has several stores in Florida. I seem to recall seeing men's Liberty of London shirts in their catalog.

    Another edward green question..

Cuff's in Chagrin Falls, Ohio had a decent selection of EG shoes several months ago when I visited. I believe they stock EGs only in the E width and will order wider or narrower widths for a relatively small price markup. However, the salesman indicated that waiting times have been several...
