    A Love Affair: Ralph Lauren

IMHO Polo is for teens and 20's Purple Label for grown ups. QUOTE=bigbris1;2847878]Yup. I love the slim sleeves, the silhouette, the cloth, and the lapel roll. This should be it for now. BTW, I doubt PL would work for me if these fit so perfectly.

MTM in NYC for around $1,000: Mr. Ned?

Good points. I definately pay up for the OTR suit alterations and dont cheap out on this crucial step. This is Key. So I bring RLPL suit for example to the RL store where they charged me $170ish for button holes, trouser cuff and seat, and jacket nip and tuck. Suits look every bit the 4k they...

    Velvet Slippers Yea or Nay

Thank you. Good point. Even so, get something with your initials or a crest that means something to you rather than a generic Ralph Lauren polo player.

    Velvet Slippers Yea or Nay

These are $360 on sale from GVH. I would say yes, but don't pay over the premium for RLPL ones, go with a renowned English maker. There's plenty about them here if you search.

Thomas Pink: current slim fit any slimmer?

Pink shirts get bashed to pieces here. But I have to say their Superfine Two fold 170's shirts are some of the nicest material you will see on a shirt.

    Velvet Slippers Yea or Nay

From WASP 101: The velvet slipper is a classic shoe that certainly has its place in a WASP's wardrobe. The shoe originated with English aristocracy, but it never really caught on with Americans. We occasionally see a stylish individual pairing their monogrammed or crested slippers with a tuxedo...
