Not really, they've been basically offering a reduced number of standard colors in calf and a special yearly color. Last year it was burgundy, this year blue. Suede is a bit more dynamic. Still, calf color offering in the past was more ample.- Peitron

Not really, the color spectrum on standard offerings has gradually been reduced. I suspect that moving forward you'll only be able to get RTW shoes in very standard colors and the "colorful" variations will be available through customization, like Carmina.- Peitron

True, it's s very different in-shop experience. But as the SA at my go-to Alden shop told me last time (as he threw in shoe trees, shoe horn, extra laces, and a complimentary brush into my bag), they will rarely -if ever- discount prices like AE.
