    Grey vest...

the idea was to do it without a jacket in my mind it looks good, now i'm questioning that approach... I kept thinking a red gingham shirt, black pants, black tie and grey vest would look dressed up enough for New Year's but dressed down enough that I won't mind going to the bars and dancing...

The official thrift/discount store bragging thread

Hey guys, I am so glad everyone introduced me to the joy of thrifting. This week so far, I found a perfect blue french cuff ike behar shirt, a Hickey freeman light blue sport coat, and polo plaid shirt with elbow pads, and I went to banana republic and picked up 8 pair of socks that I saw...

My adventures in (DIY) shoemaking -- part 6

Great work. I wish there were videos that showed excruciating detail on every step invovled, then maybe I would be willing to try something like this. You are certainly progressing. Let me know when you want to try and make practice pairs before going public!

    My career...

We'll see where all of this takes me. I have sent out my resume, and I'm hoping to get a call back. Thanks to everyone for responding to a thread like this

    My career...

those threads were certainly disheartening. It appears as though no on in healthcare is worth working for and if you do you will either be unstimulated or overworked. Perhaps I should just take some professional exams and try to go into a field of healthcare? Cafepharma threw me for a loop

    My career...

Pharm sales is difficult to break into right now. I'm trying to show my interest as I feel that would carry more weight on a resume if applying to B-school than say, doing work in a lab. I'm sure a PhD would hold weight, but I don't think I have it in me to do that kind of research for another...

    My career...

Thanks for the replies. The MBA route sounds nice if I can secure a position somewhere that would make use of it. My biggest problem is that I don't know where to even begin in applying for jobs. Consulting would be amazing, but do I really have the credentials? NO. Finance would be interesting...

    My career...

I don't know that there is an ideal work day. I love research and planning for projects. But not lab research. My financial needs are not great. That is all I will say. I am not well off, but I am not in debt either. I don't require a lot although if possible, I would like nice things. That is...
