Arbiters of style, which classily inspired smoking accessory would you go with

Mathew, enjoy your search and your lighter, whatever you pick. Some history you may find enjoyable http://www.lightersandpens.com/dunhill.htm http://www.lightersandpens.com/dupont.htm Lots of others know much more, but I think some of the old smoking pieces are pieces of design geius. Hello...

IM Corona are probably the best bang for the buck lighters you can buy. I have the Old Boy model as well as a Dupont Ligne 2. Hi Sammy, so how well do the IM Corona's compare to the Dupont, in functionalilty? Thanks

Arbiters of style, which classily inspired smoking accessory would you go with

All of the designs you have are variations on dunhill originals. You can look at it two ways - do you want a lighter with this form factor? If yes, buy the best lighter with the look you want at the price you want. Do you want a lighter that will impress people? If yes, you probably want the...

Don't get a fake on something like this. Buy the real thing or don't buy it. In the long run, you'll be happier. Chances are that if you like the style now, you'll be dropping the $320 for the real thing in a few years anyway. There are other buying options besides new that you could explore if...

Arbiters of style, which classily inspired smoking accessory would you go with

Any of the rollagas models. Original and iconic design. Only concerns about real Rollagas models are 1. damn expensive for a lighter, 2. have read more than a few gripes about them needing service, 3. damn expensive for a lighter Mentally I can swing $150 and for someone who rarely smokes...

Quit smoking asap - or watch as choice of lighter becomes very low down on your worry list... The irony is I don't really smoke, well other than the occasional cigar....I really just like the lighters and know they won't be used for much.

Arbiters of style, which classily inspired smoking accessory would you go with

So I am looking at getting a fancy lighter just because and like a few of these but cannot decide on a style, since I am not wealthy enough to buy them all and am limited to one I am hoping that the power of group think will push me towards one of these styles over the other... So here are the...

    Cigarette Lighters.

Anyone have any thoughts on these, I am considering one of them.... These two by IM Corona, seemingly good quality, company has been around for ages, and relatively affordable... These from Dupont: Line 1 Line 2 Gatsby Or these Dunhills... Part of me likes the Dupont for the...

okay I need some advise... I'm within striking distance to get a rolex sub, the former model- not the new ceramic bezel ones and no rolex-hate comments please, but I've been also looking at the new GMT2 which would put my budget back a bit but I can probably afford to get in a few more months...

How often will you do re-sole for your leather-sole shoes?

I have one pair now that is being redone after less than a year, cheaper florsheims but I like them....the sole started seperating from the shoe at the toe. I wear shoes hard and crush otherwise nice shoes so I presume every year or so..hopefully longer

Why spend a lot on a belt? All belts look the same to me.

In 100% agreement with the OP. I have belts that retail for between $30 and $250 and I cannot discern any significant difference in quality between them that would justify the enormous difference in price. Nor is there any true visible difference. You are paying the luxury markup for the brand...

Elbow blow out on shirts, how long should they last...

I've bought shirts that were must less expensive than yours, but I've never had an elbow "blow out." My guess would be that your sleeves are too tight. If that's the case, it leaves very little room for movement (especially if your cuffs are stuck at your wrist) and cause extra pressure on the...

Elbow blow out on shirts, how long should they last...

So just had one of my fav dress shirts blow apart at the elbow today, went to bend my arm in the car and heard a noise and saw a slight puff of dust only to see the elbow in the shirt ripped right across. In looking at the material it appears slightly discolored, this shirt was also losing...
