SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Ordered myself a pair of the sand colored all-linen Hollywood trousers during the recent sale. Was interested in them for a while - sale pushed me to go for it...plus the impending Spring/Summer sunshine. I expect I'll get them in about 10 days or so. Anyone have any IRL pics wearing these...

Ahhh - thanks for clarifying that! Is the Pirozzi that comes to NYC these days the one from Casalnuovo, or the one in Chiaia?

I thought they moved location now to Casalnuovo?

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Looks very sport coatish to me - mainly because of the pattern and patch pockets.

Dacks and other Canadian shoe brands

I'm here - have bought a few high-quality new pairs recently, but not much CDN vintage...just have not seen a lot. Interested in what you might have in size 11E (or possibly 11D if the fit is generous)!

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Keep shopping patiently on ebay, etc. I find pretty much everything will pop up once in awhile. And I am amazed how many NOS shoes (or tried on once pairs) come up for sale over a few years of online shopping. You will get lucky and land some of the RLPL shoes you are looking for!

That is unfortunate - you are at the mercy of full MSRP! I take 10.5/11 - a popular size I think, but pairs are out there to be had.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I am a bargain hunter when I shop. Over the last 3 years, I managed to buy 2 pairs of brand new Dovers in my size and on the 606 last I prefer for a total delivered cost of $705 USD per pair. One pair was from a stockist that was winding down business (antique redwood), and the most recent...

Back to CAD now for me. I suspect somehow yesterday the website was not detecting the location of the customer.

If I have a jacket with a little extra room like that, I try to add a sweater (weather permitting) underneath to tighten up the fit. A cardigan can work nicely with a shirt and tie. Or for a less formal look, you can wear the suit with a turtleneck sweater that has a thicker knit.

My 4 that are shortest compared to size chart: Example #1 - blue DB sport coat - size chart says this should be 31.7". From the base of the collar, it measures 30.75" (short by 0.95"). Example #2 - Fox Bros SB sport coat - size chart says this should be 32.1". From the base of the collar it...

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Somewhere back in this thread I posted my results of measuring the length of about 6 of my S&M RTW sport jackets and suit jackets. They were all short. IIRC all but one were short by 0.5" up to a full inch. I find their other measurements to be very accurate per size chart, but jacket length...

I suspect you are seeing US sales tax in your price. I am shopping from Canada, and my starting price is US$906.50 and an extra 25% off = US$680 after the code.

Mr. Porter has 1 pair of brown suede Belgravias in UK10 on sale for $680.25 with code FLASH25. Wee bit too small for me, else I would have grabbed them for myself...
