That was a charity shop find only cost a £1 too, from a brand called ''armando'' around 90% percent of my wardrobe is second hand. The moth holes don't bother me honestly, and i have a American made tweed jacket what has worse ones, can't say i have ever had anyone notice them, and if they did...

Thanks, i do have a prince of wales check jacket from the late seventies and the lapels are rather wide, still fits better and is nicer quality than any modern cut blazer i have had though.

I like the black and red checkerboard tie, i would wear that, nice combo with the dark grey pinstripe and dark purple shirt too. Any idea the age of this jacket i just bought online for £1(prob cos it has moth holes, don't bother me part of buying vintage) i'm thinking seventies. Thanks.

Lol it was a completely different kind of magazine i used to look at when i was a lad and it wasn't something you found in the library!.

I know a lass who is a spitting image for Honor Blackman when she was 35-40 in the sixties, i don't think she is single unfortunately lol.

When are we going to see Shoe Goo III, they can't just leave it as a two film franchise it needs to be a trilogy, it sounds like some wacky low budget eighties flick.

My uncle is also a cobbler and worked for him for a while until he had to leave for health reasons, so i think i may get family rates, though he has always been reasonable with his prices.

Cheers fellas, something to consider for the future. I found it quite hilarious when it happened honestly lol, perhaps it was just due to their age, they're only from 1999 though according to the production stamp on the insole, then again that was 25 years ago now, crikey.

Took them to the cobbler, should only cost a fiver to repair them.

Just bought these mysterious air wair soled boots for £25, not in bad nick. Another pair here if you are a size 11. https://www.vinted.co.uk/items/3947579158-boots-uk-11

Yeah it's so you can move more around in them and wear layers such as a boiler suit underneath, i always used to go down a size when i bought mine for a more fitted look for the ones i hang around in, for warehouse/factory/bin work i did baggy is more practical.

I found skinny ones were useless at keeping keks up, i don't wear braces anymore, uncomfortable things.

I do think suedehead/smoothie is an underappreciated look, i have my own style now in my mid thirties but if i went back i would definitely go the suedehead route again rather than the full on skinhead look.

Seems you are damned if you don't and damned if you do, if you fight it may well escalate into far worse and if you don't you become a target for mugging or something similar. A reason why i don't carry much money on me is because of potentially being mugged, the most beneficial option is to...
