    Drakes London Jacket, Size 44

As described but see the listing. My understanding per the rules linked to an eBay auction is acceptable so hopefully I’m doing this right. Only shipping to Canada though...

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Interestingly, I think Michael Hill would suggest that creasing is a feature not a bug. https://putthison.com/but-what-clothes-do-you-truly-wear-most-of-us/

    Pleated chinos a bad idea?

I’ve got a pair of pleated chinos I wear to create a bit of a 90’s polo vibe though I did get them slightly tapered. I find the trick with them is to wear a suitably more voluminous shirt and I do have to iron them then let them relax and rumple a little. It’s a nice casual look to my eye...

Somehow that outfit you saw sounds both very french and anti-drakes indeed!

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

It really is a great jacket, and to be clear, I still love it. I just don’t reach for it as often as you might think. Personal quirk or something. It was actually a fit pic earlier in the thread that someone else posted that put me over the top regarding the purchase. Carrying on the tradition!

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Don’t know if anyone has got back to you on this. It’s a great coat, love the cut and the heft/softness of the denim but I find it weirdly hard to style for some reason. In hindsight I probably would have got the dark indigo one. Somehow in my mind it gets a little too close in tone and vibe to...

    High waisted chinos?

Not going to get you side adjusters but I have a pair of Bronson Manufacturing WW2 chinos that are actually fantastic casual pants barring the cheapest buttons created by man in the fly. Hits at waist, full cut all that, very traditional looking. For what they cost you might want to give them a...

Don’t know if I’m missing something obvious here, but if I’m browsing the Canadian site are the shoe sizes in UK or North American sizing? Thanks in advance if anyone has any idea…

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

Well certainly could just be me but somehow I find it’s the sweater capturing my attention. Might just be that everything else is so neutral in tone perhaps. Maybe the pants already have enough going on and you don‘t need the accent colour. You’re certainly right that blue would typically be...

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

I feel like it’s the turtleneck. To my eye black or dark grey would work better. Somehow that blue feels like an outlier. That said I love the pants!

Very nice! Who makes those chore coats? You have a few I think and I’d love to get more in a similar vein.

The Desert Boot and Chukka appreciation/review thread

The Aldens are a pretty nice fit, but I sort of jumped around there between US and UK sizing. it would about 9UK or so if I picked the sizing that way. But Yes it is weird how sizing fits differently.

Is that the Drake's Aran knit sweater? Damn it looks so much better on you than me. Should have sized down! Well at least I have a year to put on weight before I can get it out again.

The Desert Boot and Chukka appreciation/review thread

Just seeing this, but you sound like you're in the ballpark of my sizing. I take a UK10 in nike, 9.5UK in New Balance and a 10US in most Alden lasts. I have a couple of pairs of DukeFlexes in size 9UK and it's an absolutely stellar fit. Most comfortable shoes I own. I would assume the Greenflex...

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Thanks for consistently putting these posts up Krusty (if I may be so bold). I’ve always admired how composed, dignified, well put together and happy you look in your photos. I’m certainly more casual in the look I’m usually going for, but I always get a smile from your posts. Just a quick word...
