    Orthotics and Dress Shoes Fit

I haven't had success using inserts in most traditional dress shoes (though I'd be interested if anyone has). Allen Edmonds has a range of shoes with replaceable insoles, as do a number of Florsheim models. I was looking for something relatively sleek and landed on the Florsheim Hamilton penny...

No. I was looking for something similar and though the Cellulare is comfortable I don't believe it is what you are looking for. The search continues.

Ask a Question, Get an Answer - ask all quick questions here

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the following coat. It is grey in what looks to be a wool-like material. As you can tell it's quilted and insulated. It has side vents. Given the wool-like fabric and the details, it looks more formal than most quilted/insulated coats...

The right tools for upkeeping Allen Edmond Aberdeens?

I'm sure others will be able to provide more detailed responses (and there are great resources if you search the archives for older posts), but I have found this to be quite the helpful resource for AEs: http://content.allenedmonds.com/pdf/ShoeCareReference.pdf

    Bookster - Customer Service issue

I placed my first order at the end of June. I sent an email on Aug. 31 to check on the status of the order. Michele responded on Sept. 2 that my order was complete and would be shipping shortly. I received a shipment confirmation on Sept. 3. Looking forward to receiving and trying on.

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part II

Thanks gnatty it was a nice $5.00 find size 38 I was discouraged when I first received it because of how unfitting it was but after bringing it to my tailor he tailored it amazingly. I love that guy even though it ran me about $60.00 which isn't too bad at all. Who is your tailor, if you don't...

I think it looks great (including the shoes). Agreed, it looks and fits you great. Perhaps the suit could use a press. Details?

Advice on TaT (or alternative) for wedding

I'm a fan of TaT, but I think his aesthetic and your needs do not match. He doesn't do waistcoats, and I believe you are out of his size range. Many people have had success with Steven Aver, and he mentioned being able to do waistcoats when someone asked. Cheers

Shirt Fabric Swatches --Modern Tailor-- Take a look and pass it along...

I've been happy with them as well. I would like them to offer more customization (size of collars and cuffs, for example), but their shirts are a great value.

    Shortening Sleeves of Shirts

Have them do one, see how the results are. I have a similar place shorten sleeves and they do a fine job. Sleeves look much better when they are the proper length.
