(Church's Clyde) Help me find suede shoes just like these

I really, really enjoy the Clyde model from Church's. Just look at the pictures. Handsome animal, isn't it? After three years of frequent wear, mine is about to give up its ghost. So I understand why people gripe about Church's quality these days. But I still love this design...

Briefcase Review -- Swaine Adeney Brigg Short-Strap Westminster (Filson Satchel comparison)

If you do decide to buy it, please leave a note to Ms. Collinge of customer service that you saw the bag from a Korean customer's review. I am very thankful to her for adding the bag to the online catalog so I could order it. :)

    Briefcase Appreciation thread

I finally finished the SAB briefcase review I promised to post a few months ago. Here it is: http://www.styleforum.net/t/501303/briefcase-review-swaine-adeney-brigg-short-strap-westminster-filson-satchel-comparison The bag reviewed looks like this:

Briefcase Review -- Swaine Adeney Brigg Short-Strap Westminster (Filson Satchel comparison)

Briefcase Review Swaine Adeney Brigg Short-Strap Westminster (Also, comparison with Filson Satchel) In 2008, I posted on the AAAC forum a comparison review of two classic briefcases, the Swaine Adeney Brigg Westminster Wrap-Round and the Filson Satchel. You can find that review here...

    Briefcase Appreciation thread

I have that bag with the wrap round straps, and the combination of round lock and buckle straps make the bag look ridiculously ornate. It looks downright Victorian, and I stopped carrying it after a while because it received far too much attention. You chose wisely to do without the wrap round...

    Briefcase Appreciation thread

I recommend Glaser. For a bridle-leather briefcase I would normally recommend Filson Satchel (http://s221.photobucket.com/user/Tidybeard/media/Field-Satchel-front-1.jpg.html) or a similarly designed Swaine Adeney or Papworth briefcases. I own both SAB and Filson, and love them both. However...

    Discuss Swaine Adeney Brigg cases

After buying both the Filson Satchel and the SAB Wesminster Wrap-Round, I have found the perfect bag for me. Swaine Adeney Brigg Westminster with short straps. 8 days into ownership, and already I know I will not be parting with it, ever. Currently in the process of writing a full-length...

A new Swaine Adeney Brigg that replaced my old buddy the Filson Satchel. A true beauty. I will be posting a review of this bag soon.

When is the next BB sale?

I like BB's new short duffel coat, but I've never spent $600 for a duffel coat before... When will be the next sale, roughly?

How do you specify suit trouser options at BB website?

BB stores in Seoul aren't carrying the corduroy suit I'm after, so I have to order from the US website. Their trouser size options are kind of confusing, so help me out please. I've sent an inquiry to BB too, but in the past their replies weren't always as precise as I would have liked... This...

Difference between AE Presidio and McGraw...and a few loafer questions

http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline...ategory=120552 (Presidio) http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline...ategory=120552 (McGraw) I will much appreciate whatever you have to offer on any of the following: (1) I really like the look of the Presidio. Unfortunately it doesn't come in brown, only...

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

You can wear a blue and gold scarf all you want and I bet not a single Cal grad anywhere will even make the connection. I was thinking too that crimson and white stripes should be simple enough a design that it needn't be associated with a single school--or if it is, what a sad monopoly for...

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

I fully agree that wearing a logo or an insignia is weird and borderline con if you didn't go to the school. It gives utterly misleading impressions. I was just wondering if school colors were as highly recognizable. I guess this wasn't a good idea.

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

If it's obscure ,what's the point... Why do you need to wear school colours or insignia in the first place? I'm not in the least interested in insignias... I just saw some of the J. Press offerings and really liked them. Some lovely mufflers. They just don't sell classic stuff like that where...

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

Not a huge deal unless you go over the top. I mean it's just a tie. I wear a navy blue tie with little bulldogs on it that I really like from J Crew, even though I didn't go to Yale. Who cares? I would not wear the logo of a school on a tie if you did not go there, though. That's just weird...

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

    (1) Even if I am Korean, and Koreans don't recognize school colors much? (2) Is the "danger" simply the risk of public embarrassment, or is there a sort of unwritten rule against this? If the former is the case, then wearing a comparatively obscure school's colors would be OK?

Is it bad taste to wear college colors if you didn't attend the college?

Been checking out J. Press's extra 25% off sale, and saw some of their winter scarves. They're so pretty that I figure I might as well stock up on a few while they are cheap. I particularly like London U., Harvard, and Yale Berkeley colors. I've never worn school colors before. I know that...

    Briefcase purchase: opinions please

I just replied to your PM. Something I forgot to say: if size and convenience are the main issues, I think it might be best for you to go with the smallest Glaser model available, whatever that may be.
