Bought some navy cordovan balmorals back in 2020 and they have patina to an odd green/blue (almost teal?) mix. Has anyone else experienced this?

For real? I'm at TD, but still haven't heard anything on that front yet. Is CIBC the first one amongst the major banks to announce this? Funnily enough, I joined TD during the pandemic and I totally forgot to ask where my office was during the job interview. ?

How is your shell so navy? Mine is almost like a teal color. Patina I assume? I hope mine eventually end up looking like yours.

Thanks! They are on the Sineu last, which I'm a big fan of now. I didn't want to do Inca since it seemed too pointy, so Sineu was a nice middle ground. Fits extremely similar to Rain, but I would say Rain has slightly more room in the toe box.

Never used a proxy service, so I'm curious; once I get it shipped from the US address to Canada, am I the one who is responsible for declaring value for customs (i.e., I can put in whatever declaration value to minimize taxes/duties)?

Good point - will mention that to her. She is a fan of minimalist black dials, preference is probably towards bracelet over strap if possible.

Good idea - thanks! These are around 6.8k CAD - so out of budget for her (but I did mention Omega De Ville could start around her price point).

FYI, I was exchanging emails with Ioana (from Carmina's CS) and she advised they have these "brolive" shells in stock. Shout outs to Ioana - her amazing CS is the main reason why I'm okay with dealing Carmina's odd mishaps.

Armagnac looks quite different here; thought it was more of a brown and olive mix? Your shoe collection looks sick tho. Please post a State Of The Collection (SOTC) post!
