The Definitive MANBAG Thread Part I: 2009-2014

Looks like LV custom.. I could be wrong though. Reminds me of the luggage a bit from Darjeeling Limited.

Why does everyone here dislike "high-end" brands?

That LV condom isn't real BTW.

Mistakes you made when updating your wardrobe

Yeah, Vox does go no break. But have you ever seen a picture of vox sitting down? Sitting down isn't the only thing. I think no break looks like you're wearing pants that are too short. Yes, I know you're wearing beautiful shoes and maybe even FU socks. I'm not saying we should go for a pool...

Mistakes you made when updating your wardrobe

Since I was on a tight budget when I joined here it wasn't about buying too much too soon. My first post-SF purchases were great items and I still wear some of them. I still own the first 'real shoes' I bought using SF knowledge and wear them frequently, having been resoled once and reheeled...

Why does everyone here dislike "high-end" brands?

In my experience: Ferragamo clothing is ****** Gucci can be fine but sometimes too fashion Louis Vuitton good but pricey Burberry some good but pricey and some a bit ugly Hugo Boss expensive for quality. I like the cuts of some of their items but it's hard to justify the price for me. Hermes I...

    Relatively Inexpensive Belgian Loafers

Loake lincoln in dark brown suede. Retail is about £140.00. I don't think the Rubinacci loafers are too expensive though. I forgot how much they sold for. Their online store is down for this whole month of August 2012, but they'll probably be listed there when it comes back up.

    First bespoke suit in Malaysia

I think it looks good. The perceived shortness is due to his baggy pants I think. The back needs to be cleaned up a lot, but I presumer he'll do this eventually. Cheers.

Bespoke: Multiple in-house tailors vs. One tailor who makes every aspect. Rarity?

I have no malicious intentions, Rudolf. I'm just commenting on what I see. For what it's worth, I just took another look at your website. Your suits don't look nearly as bad as I remember. Rather, the stylistic choices you chose are what bother me the most. I prefer much more open quarters...

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

I think the biggest problem is the style of jacket you had made. It's a very strange style jacket you have there. It looks like a combination cold-weather peacoat and loungesuit. I can't imagine a use for this coat as linen is too lightweight to work as a coat. Why did you chose this style?

Isaia or not Isaia tie, but like this

Looks to be linen to me. Nice polka dot ties have been the hardest thing for me to find. Cheers in the search. I'm going out on a limb here, but you might want to try Charvet. Last time I was in their bootique in Bergdorf Goodman's they seemed to have every imaginable tie pattern one could...
