I believe it's more of a regional pricing thing. The tariff for leather shoes is 30% (around 20% if from EU, also ticking down every year thanks to EPA), and 60% of the retail price is subject to it. Adding 10% consumer tax the total amount is about 30% (or about 23% for ones made in the EU)...- wjyzxcv

I requested for a return on the 20th of November and got authorized in no time. The package was delivered on the 25th but hasn't been processed yet. They do seem to have difficulties on that front lately.- wjyzxcv
