I think you can go take it up to an inch and it wouldn't impact your comfort. I'm sure when you put it on there may be excess space there when you have them on. This is normal. If you haven't worked the muscle before your body isn't used to it so it takes longer to repair the muscles. Eat lots of protein and carbs to recover quicker. Fitted Undershirts - Care Much?
The whole point of an undershirt is to provided added comfort and absorb your persperation. If it's baggy - you're losing out on the value it provides to the feel of the look. You'll notice that fit is really important to style focused dress. It only makes sense for the undershirt to also fit.- fongstar
