the best value shoe(s) you can buy

Stacy Adams was one of the first pair of shoes I ever bought and it was one of the biggest mistakes. It gave me the worst blisters I've ever had. Stay away.

Dry Cleaner Recommendations - Manhattan for Bespoke/MTM?

I used jeeves before and they were excellent in getting a stain out of a silk tie. I was amazed.

    Shoe crease causing pain

I had a similar problem with my Edware Geen chelseas. I think they were too long, so there was excess leather that dug down into my foot. I bought another pair of EGs that were halfsize smaller and did not have that same issue. Over time, the EG leather got soft enough that it didn't quite...

Shoe Damage Report & Shoe P0rn Central - Part II

I just got my bespoke G&G shoes. Tony calls this style a reverse balmoral and I had them do the top part in croc. Color is espresso. I lent the shoes to Steven at Leffot and he took some sweet pictures of them for me and he might post them on his blog.

    Bespoke shoes @ 330 Pounds?

This site looks like such a scam. I think they even stole a picture from the JLP site and posted it as their own. Compare. http://us.estore.johnlobb.com/becketts.html http://uk.adlershoes.com/product_inf...he-Oxford.html Definitely a copy and paste job.

Shoe Damage Report & Shoe P0rn Central - Part II

I got these a couple weeks ago through Leffot. Ordered MTO Rider boots to get me through the winter. Shell cordovan and pebble grain combo with a dainite sole. Fit well and are really durable as I wore them trudging through the blizzard.

Planning to check out Savile Row tailors in NYC, any recommendations?

So I met with Henry Poole and Dege and think I'm going to go with Dege. Should I contact Poole to tell them that I'm planning to use Dege?

    Dry Cleaners/Shirt Launderers

I've been having this problem recently too. Just got an Ascot Chang shirt washed at my local cleaner and button broke after the first wash. Does this happen because of the washing or pressing of the shirt? My friend suggested that I ask for hand pressing and that should help. He said that what...

Planning to check out Savile Row tailors in NYC, any recommendations?

Thanks for the info. Question on what you think is fair etiquette. I'm trying to do as much research as I can before scheduling appointments. If I was in London, I'd just walk around to all the shops on my own. But because that's not possible, do you think it's fair that I "shop around" with...

Planning to check out Savile Row tailors in NYC, any recommendations?

Hello, So a handful of the Savile Row tailors will be passing by NYC in the next few weeks and I was thinking of checking them out as I want to expand my custom suit wardrobe. Right now I have 2 from some NYC based guys that are pretty good (I owe pics to the forum, but having trouble getting a...

What differentiates very high-end bespoke suit vs. bespoke?

That's the question. Any idea who does the cutting and sewing? Don't know the answer to that. Although when I talked with him and made tweaks, he talked about changing the pattern. So is that the main distinction between bespoke and not. Bespoke means pattern drawn up from scratch?

What differentiates very high-end bespoke suit vs. bespoke?

As I understand it, Stephen doesn't do bespoke. Actually, since I'm a novice. How would I know if it's true bespoke or not? I know Stephen isn't the actual cutter, sewer etc. But I did have a basted fitting and multiple fittings after that. So in your opinion, what makes Kempson not bespoke...

What differentiates very high-end bespoke suit vs. bespoke?

Well, I'm not really into bragging rights so not really interested in paying up for that. In terms of materials, I got Dormeuil and VBC in like 120's. So pretty standard stuff that I imagine the higher-end tailors would be using too at a $6K+ price point. In terms of styling, if you're doing...

What differentiates very high-end bespoke suit vs. bespoke?

So over the last two months I've gotten two bespoke suits from people in NYC. Price was around $2,500-$3,000 for each and I'm quite happy with the result. But I was just curious though, what separates the super high-end bespoke tailors (e.g. Logsdail or Corvato, etc.) that are $6k and up from...
