Modified last seems tighter in the inner middle section of the foot. It's not painful, but there's more pressure exerted in that area than I'm used to. Heel and toe feel about the same as the Barrie.- remainder

No, I don't know anything about the company except that they're selling expensive painted axes as objets d'art to people that will likely never use them for their intended purpose, not unlike much of the work wear clothing being sold today. The neatsfoot oil will make the leather more pliable, but it will darken slightly and dull the finish a bit. Venetian shoe cream will give it more luster as there are waxes in it which can be brought up to a light polish.- remainder
