    Church's shoes are comparable to...?

I think Church's shoes are generally about the same as C&J Benchgrade, but Church's are way overpriced outside of England. Even in the UK, a pair of Church's costs about 60 dollars more than an a roughly equivalent pair of C&J's. That's not worth paying, if you ask me.

    Church's shoes are comparable to...?

In my experience, there's not too much difference between C&J and Church's vis-a-vis quality. You'll find some who criticise Church's for the supposed decline in the quality of their shoes ever since the Prada Group took over the company, and although I cannot compare pre/post-Prada quality...

How much do you tip taxi drivers?

I generally only round up to the nearest £, but maybe that's just on account of the fact that tipping isn't 'expected' over here like it is in the US. The only exception to the rule is if I'm getting a taxi around Christmas/New Year, where I'll often add on £3-5 to the original fare.

Self Edge SF/NY/LA/PDX/MX - Japanese Denim & Leather, Top Notch Basics, Very Nice Jewelry + Eyewear, & More

$350? Ironhearts come from the UK and the pound is soo weak. I don't know how you justify that. Just because they have a UK distributor doesn't mean that they're British. Flat Head also has a UK site (admittedly it's still under construction,) but they're about as British as Samsung. I think...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Would someone be able to tell me how the Craftsman boots size in comparison to the Church's 173 last? The nearest shop that sells the former is too far away for me to travel to, so I'd appreciate someone being able to give me accurate information that would make unnecessary the chore of sending...

    Fit of Jermyn St Shirts

Right, I've checked through the forum and most threads regarding Jermyn St shirtmakers seem to focus upon either the price or the quality, there doesn't seem to be any threads focused primarily upon the fit of the shirts. I've got a semi-fitted TML 15.5/34.5 shirt that, despite being a...
