Picked up the Mantua in Argyle. First pair of JMMs. Very impressed. Only really found out about this brand in the last month after deciding I wanted something Japanese and higher end for my next pair going into my 4th decade. Should hopefully have them back with my rx next week.

You’ll have a lot of winter options, especially at Real McCoys. Also, and unrelated, I notice Real McCoys have yet to release the indigo leather A2 jacket.

We should make this a pinned post. I edited to add some more. You won't find Iron Heart anywhere in Tokyo except for the main store on Hochigi and good luck getting there. Go to Iron Heart Osaka (still off the beaten path, but only 30min versus 2.5 hours) Otherwise, go to: Ueno: Hinoya (3...

RMC is the only brand that makes the first type without epaulets. That alone justified it for me. But the fit is really good, too. Drapes well. I preferred it over the others I tried, including Iron Heart.

I was just popping in for the mother cotton loopwheel stuff and it slipped my mind to go there after SDA even though they are so close. I did find a ton of fullcount at Hinoya and Americaya today in Ueno so it worked out. But my god RMC is still the best store in Tokyo. I did find a lot of...

Took the wife to harajaku and Shibuya today. Got me a sweet pair of Studio D’artisan SD-908 jeans woven on the original G3. (US retail $315 and paid $165!) Got her a sick Flat Head Type 2 jacket that she really likes. I grabbed a loopwheeled crew sweatshirt from Flat Head too. The staff there...
