Paul, the new trousers look great. I’ve pretty much worn my last pair of proper trouser I had from you right through. The rush appears to have beaten me though and the first three pairs I’ve tried to buy are sold out in L. Is there likely to be a restock or are they gone for good?

    Poor man's watch thread

Thank you. The Stowa website design really does them no favours. They could do with better pictures, videos even, and a better method of choosing the different options.

    Poor man's watch thread

I’ve worn my Nomos Orion every day since I got it last year and I have absolutely loved it. I decided I wanted something that was still nice for work but maybe a little less incongruous with jeans and a T-shirt. Opted for this, the Stowa Partitio. I think it’s a very nice watch. Ps...

    Poor man's watch thread

I’m not immediately attracted to the style as I prefer more delicate watches and they often look too bulky for my taste but the Stowa is the exception to that rule for me. It just looks like a watch should. Simple, classic, beautiful.

Doesn’t need to be the same level, but I’d certainly steer away from anything big or glitzy. Junghans is definitely a good shout, if they do a dual time, but even cheaper would be nice.

    Poor man's watch thread

Thought I’d come back for some more advice after such success last time. Two weeks in to my Nomos Orion experience, the first watch I’ve owned in a good 15 years, I’ve decided I actually really enjoy wearing a watch. Not quite feeling naked without it but getting there. I work a lot...

    Poor man's watch thread

Just adding my tuppensworth to this debate... I've found this thread to be a really useful source of information in the last month or so and really appreciate the contributions made here. I first posted asking for advice on the Farer brand, which then pushed me towards Stowa thanks to...

Some very good advice there, thank you. And I do like the look of the Stowa, which I’ll investigate further. Cheers!

    Poor man's watch thread

Hi folks, First time poste seeking advice after enjoying the wealth of insight on the 300+ pages here. I’m keen to purchase my first watch in about 20 years (my last one was a Casio Digital). I’m looking for a vintage look that won’t be out of place with a suit at work or with a tshirt in...
